2015 Boys Soccer Dinner
Hello Everyone,
I hope nobody misses the season as much as I do already!
It was great! If every season is like what I have experienced the first 2 seasons, I may coach forever! These guys have so much to be proud of. The word “TEAM” is what describes them. Turns out we have no “ball hogs” on the team. Actually they pass too much sometimes!
I know everyone sees the same thing as I do when watching them on the field. They are going to be fantastic to watch throughout their high school careers.
This year’s end of the year soccer dinner will be on Novemeber 15th at 6pm. Again this year it will be held at the Busti Church of God. Hopefully eveyone can attend.
If you have interest in playing indoor soccer or trying out for the Erie Admirals, please let me know. I am not in charge of the indoor soccer teams but I can help direct you a bit. I will help coordinate Admirals tryouts.

If you have any questions please direct them all to Jennie Vaughn!!!
I am just kidding!
Please Thank Jennie for being our team rep! She was a great help to me. And I appreciate her greatly!

Thanks for a great season!

Socks, Uniforms, and More!
We are in the middle of our second week of practices and things are coming together nicely. Last night’s practice was terrific as we continued to work on maintaining possession to build up our attack.
My feeling is that we will be using a 3-4-3 formation in order to help use all of our assets to their fullest. This formation does make us a little vulnerable to the counter-attack, however, I strongly believe that our defense will be smart and our midfielders will be able to get back and help our defenders down the flanks and up the middle.
This week we will also cover the 4-3-3 formation which we will also use at times. This formation adds another defender in the back but also gets our midfielders to play in a triangle formation throughout the field. Maintaining the triangle during the spring season was the hardest part for the players. My goal is to get them to understand better why we need to and also be more aware of what each other is doing on the field.
Socks will be in by the end of the week. The cost for each player for the 2 pairs of socks will be $21.50. Please, Please, Please send the money as soon as possible with your player, see me or see Coach White. Coach White was gracious enough to use his own credit card to order the socks so let’s get him paid back as soon as possible.
We will be handing out uniforms on Saturday at the end of practice. Please be prepared for us to be a little late. Hopefully everything will be quick and painless. Please have your player try the uniforms on and inspect them for any damage that may need to be repaired.
Our first game is next Tuesday at Frewsburg. I will let the players know the reserve groups by Saturday and everyone will know who will be dressing for the next few games. Early in the season we may need to change up the reserve groups, however, I do not want to make it more difficult for anyone than it already is.
Reminder*** In order to play the first game every player must attend 10 practices and also the practice the day before every game.
Shoot me an email, call, or text if you have any questions.
